I am recruiting on behalf of a food manufacturing company who are committed to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
They are looking for a Technical Manager to drive food safety, compliance, and quality across their site. This role is suitable for someone who is looking to progress their career, therefore I am looking to speak with QA Managers/Senior Food Technologists or Assistant Technical Managers who are wanting to take on extra responsibility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with food safety, legal, and customer standards.
- Lead and improve GMP, HACCP, TACCP, and VACCP controls.
- Manage audits, including BRC and customer audits.
- Handle complaints, product conformance, and root cause analysis.
- Coach and develop the QC and Hygiene teams.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and external audits.
Qualifications:
- Experience working within a similar food manufacturing role.
- Level 3 Food Safety & HACCP (essential).
- Experience with BRCGS and customer standards.
- People management experience.
