Quantity Surveyor

Fairmead are currently looking for a Quantity Surveyor on a permanent basis on behalf of our client, a contractor based in Colchester. This is a permanent position, with interviews being held before a potential start. Overview of role Job Type: Permanent Location: Colchester Salary: £40k - £60k + package Job Role: Quantity Surveyor Summary of duties; * Responsible for full valuation process of assigned projects. * Monitoring final account forecasts monthly and ensuring accurate reporting to client teams. * Ensuring final account is profitable for the business. * Assist in ongoing supplier and sub contractor procurement as project information is developed, reporting against Cost Plans * Assist in the raising of Estimates to clients and client teams and ensuring instruction. * Assist in the raising of sub contract orders. * Assist in preconstruction estimating as and when required. * Frame work exprience Preferred Please contact me so I can clarify the process involved and discuss this vacancy in more detail.
