Designer

FINTEC recruit is supporting recruitment for a vacancy for Designer .    You will be working on a nuclear site involved in survey work, based in Cumbria.   Experience of working within a design department is an advantage or similar.  Further Training in CAD design is available.  This is a permanent role working 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday, with salary depending on experience, up to £39,000 plus bonus, pension, critical illness, flexible working and more. Regular overtime available.  Responsibilities: Involved in implementation, and delivery of design support packages Design output/delivery meeting client specifications for successful manufacture, installations and commissioning Design of plant and equipment Skills and Experience required for the Designer role: Degree qualified – in a relevant discipline or ONC/TEC Diploma with considerable relevant experience in a regulated industry Knowledge of design tools, techniques such as HAZOP’s and calculation packages Competent in the production of standard deliverables including basic design calculations CDM regulations Incorporate engineer IENG or working towards or keen to work towards Experience of working within a regulated work environment and quality assured system Full details of the Designer role is available on application.
