Position: Teaching Assistant Duration: Immediate start - July 2025 (with potential for a permanent role) Working Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8.15am - 4.00pm Salary: £85-95 per day This school prides itself on fostering a nurturing and inclusive environment that supports both academic excellence and personal growth. As a Teaching Assistant within the Inclusion Team, you'll play a key role in ensuring students receive the tailored support they need to thrive. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with the Inclusion Team to provide personalised support for students with a variety of special needs. Assist students in the classroom, helping them access the curriculum and participate fully in school activities. Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes both academic success and student well-being. Provide one-on-one support, addressing specific learning needs and helping students achieve their potential. Work closely with teachers to implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs). Monitor and report on student progress to the Inclusion Team and other relevant staff members.This role offers a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in education while making a real difference in the lives of young people. Requirements: A bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in any discipline. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. A genuine passion for supporting students with special needs. Patience, empathy, and a nurturing approach. Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced school environment. Prior experience in an educational setting or working with young people is desirable. Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable), and professional reference checks. A CV that covers the last 10 years of employment history (where possible).
