Coordinator to provide health, safety, and training support at their Rotherham site. This role will be primarily based in Rotherham but will also provide services to the Brinsworth and Stocksbridge sites as part of the Speciality Steels division.

About the Role:
As the Safety Training Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that health, safety, and training processes are effectively managed across the site. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the implementation and ongoing compliance of the Health & Safety Management System, aligned with ISO 45001 standards.
- Coordinating and managing training programs for all departmental staff, using internal, external, and in-house training resources.
- Collaborating with managers and subject matter experts to ensure all employees receive the necessary training and development to maintain required competencies.
- Assisting in monitoring the performance and safety practices of a multiskilled workforce.
- Ensuring that all training activities are well-documented, compliant with HSE legislation, and aligned with company policies.
- Working closely with the company's Training and Health & Safety departments, fostering coordination and consistency across all sites.
- Providing additional support to other areas of the business as needed.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- NEBOSH General Certificate (or working towards it).
- A relevant training qualification (e.g., PTLLS) is desirable.
- Experience delivering training in a classroom setting.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage with all levels of the company.
- Experience in a heavy industry environment is advantageous.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify opportunities for improvement based on data analysis.
- Effective interpersonal skills, allowing you to work well across multiple departments.
- Strong IT skills, with a willingness to undertake further training if necessary.
- Strong organizational abilities, capable of maintaining accurate records and working independently to meet deadlines while being a team player.
- Competitive Salary: £30,000 - £38,000 per year, dependent on experience.
