Carpenter - Permanent - Fire Doors

Unite People are working with a well established Property and Asset Maintenance Company within the South East of England to hire a number of Fire Door Installers/Carpenters for their London teams.

Duties will include, but not be limited to, the following:

* Installation of Fire Door Sets

* All aspects of fire door maintenance

* Working in a team and also independently when require

* Liaise with management team on a daily basis

* Carry out Fire door assessments and record findings

Person specification

Essential Qualifications:

* NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification in Joinery or other relevant trade, or equivalent level of competence obtained from on-the-job experience

Desirable:

* CSCS Card

* Relevant experience

Essential:

* Proven experience working as a Carpenter on fire door sets

* Experience in working in the social housing/health/high street sector

* Trade background experience

* Knowledge/Awareness of Health and Safety on site

Aptitude, skills & abilities

* The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

* Ability to use own initiative

* Excellent communication skills

* Ability to diagnose/problem solve

A Full UK driving license is essential
