Golang Developer – Fintech – Remote - £100-140k base + Equity Who you’ll join A fintech company focused on transforming payments for businesses and consumers in one of the world’s fastest-growing economies. The platform enables near-instant, low-cost international transfers, aiming to overcome the long-standing challenges of traditional financial systems. About the Product The backend is written in Go, and that’s what you’ll be using as the primary language. The entire suite of products is built in Go, and you will gradually take on more responsibility, owning these products end-to-end. Given Go’s relatively recent emergence, we don’t expect you to have years of professional experience with the language—that’s fine! What matters more is a solid foundation in computer science fundamentals, strong OOP experience, and at least some demonstrable experience in managing development projects end-to-end using Golang. That means more than just API development. What You’ll Bring 6+ years of professional software development experience Proficiency in Golang and experience building scalable, distributed systems Experience in full ownership of projects, driving them to completion Given the nature of the system, which handles large transaction volumes, this position would especially suit someone with experience designing and developing trading systems—particularly if you’re eager to apply those skills at a mission-led company working to improve the lives of millions.
