Electrical Engineer

Location: Stoke-on-Trent, UK Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Salary: Competitive (Based on experience) Hours: 40 hours per week Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and fully qualified Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team in Stoke-on-Trent. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise and the ability to work independently on a range of commercial, industrial, and domestic projects. Key Responsibilities: * Design, install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and components in accordance with regulations. * Carry out electrical inspections, testing, and fault diagnosis. * Interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications to ensure accurate project execution. * Work on both new installations and existing electrical systems. * Ensure all electrical work complies with current safety standards and legislation (including BS 7671 IET Wiring Regulations). * Collaborate with clients, project managers, and other engineers to deliver projects on time and within budget. * Provide technical support and advice where needed. * Perform risk assessments and ensure all work is carried out in a safe manner. * Keep accurate records of work completed and any issues encountered. Requirements: * Fully qualified with NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent. * 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification (essential). * 2391 (essential) * Proven experience as an electrical engineer or electrician in commercial and/or industrial sectors. * Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks/projects. * Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. * Valid UK driving licence. * ECS/CSCS card (preferred but not essential). Desirable Skills: * Ability to work with minimal supervision and make sound technical decisions. * Excellent communication skills for client and team interaction
