Job description: We are currently recruiting fora Process Optimisation Technician to joinour Droitwich Dairy. The purpose of the role is to provide technical expertise to support and optimise value creation, working within the Muller values and standards whilst striving to continuously improve. Contract - Permanent / Full Time Location Droitwich (Worcester) Shift Pattern Monday Friday The ideal candidate will have strong process background within a food manufacturing environment, a high level problem solving capability, the ability to process map and can collaboratively work with other internal stakeholders. Key responsibilities of a Process Optimisation Technician will include: Constant recognition that the value creation is level 1 - First line support primary purpose is to support the front line teams. Coaching front line team members, enabling them to solve problems. Uses PDCA techniques to follow problems through to 100 year fix in real time. Process optimisation capability to include process mapping. Basic level understanding of PLC and logic fault finding skills. Maintenance excellence / Asset care. Uses PMS to support prioritisation, problem solving and team engagement. Displays ownership by creating and delivering end to end site wastage initiatives. Continuous transfer of knowledge and best practice. Work with engineering & technicians to observe, recognise and report on process performance and improvement. Work closely with the effluent plant and the operatives, guiding them with best practise, optimising ETP processes, troubleshooting and operation expertise. Availability to receive emergency calls out of hours, to be able to provide remote support when in need. Ability to work alongside a continuous improvement team to achieve a universal goal, analysing; documenting and validating along the way. Key skills & experience Operational Excellence Overview and Waste Management. All Dairy Technical Competency Workshops OR L3 Dairy Operator. Apprenticeship Process mapping. Basic logic / PLC fault finding. Six sigma. Operational Excellence Problem Solving. Knowledge of effluent treatment operations (preferred).
