Job Title: Challenging Behaviour Teaching Assistant Location: Yorkshire and the Humber, North Yorkshire, MiddlesbroughJob Type: Temporary, Full-TimePrimary Industry: Education and TrainingJob Duties: Support students with challenging behaviour in the classroom.Assist the lead teacher in implementing effective behaviour management strategies.Provide one-on-one support to students with special educational needs.Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.Collaborate with other staff members to ensure the overall well-being of students. Required Qualifications: GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths.Relevant teaching assistant qualification.Understanding of behaviour management techniques. Education: Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths.Experience: Prior experience working with students who have challenging behaviour.Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of special educational needs practises.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations. Preferred Qualifications: Higher-level teaching assistant qualification.Additional training in behaviour management. Working Conditions: This role involves working in a classroom setting with students who have challenging behaviour. The work may be demanding at times, requiring patience and resilience.
