Working for this growing construction business, who are seeking a Contracts Co Ordinator. This role will be to assist their industrial division who specialises in inspections and maintenance and inspection work of industrial replacement cladding, chimneys, storage units, concrete repairs and maintenance on industrial sites. The role will be 90% office based and 10% site based to go and assist the contracts manager with site audits. But you will be involved in co-ordinating and organising projects ranging from all over the UK, Europe, Channel Islands and Middle East. Duties include: - * From point of order, you will plan, and schedule works and organising work teams * Making sure clients have orders * Booking jobs and co-ordinating contractors * Method statements, booking start date, material order * Producing weekly labour sheets. * Attending weekly labour planning meetings. * Labour forecasts looking ahead over months, such as planned shutdowns etc. * Compiling Rams and safety documentation. * Compiling or updating company procedures from a technical view. * Producing plant, equipment and materials lists in a timely manner so we are set up for success at the very start of the job. * Purchasing - providing them with detailed information and suitable notice (when possible) to order equipment or materials in advance of the job starting. * Communicating with clients (in a timely manner) via email or phone to keep them updated on when we are arriving on site and also informed of any changes. * Recording any telephone conversations with the clients. * Obtaining daily diaries / photos from work team leaders and saving them in the job files. * Conversant with Microsoft, teams and big change platforms. * Compiling work programmes and measuring site progress against programme. Essential experience: - * Project/contract co-ordination experience within construction/maintenance/”at height” background is essential, and will also consider planners/schedulers/administrators from a construction background * Strong communication skills * Good admin and organisation skills including strong IT skills * Experience with dealing with RAMS and other safety documents What’s on offer: - * Monday to Friday – 7.30 – 4.30 or 7 – 4 pm * Free parking * Growing holidays with service * Career progression
