Prospero Teaching is looking for a Science teacher to work in a secondary school in Powys. Acting as a work-finding service, we provide supply cover to a range of Primary, Secondary and SEND Schools; from small village schools to large secondary schools. For this specific role we are looking for a committed and passionate Science teacher that cna get the best out of their students. Prospero Teaching work with both newly qualified teachers (NQT/ECT) and fully qualified/ experienced teachers. We are looking for teachers that have a good understanding of SEN/SEND children and using differentiation imperatively throughout lessons to ensure every child gets the best education they can. CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS Location - Brecon, Powys Position - Science Teacher Type of work - Teacher of all Science subjects at GCSE level. Start date - 04/09/2023 Duration / Likely Duration - 1 year End date (if applicable) - N/A Contract type - Temporary Full time/part time - Full time position Minimum rate of pay - Minimum rate £151.81 per day Hours - 8:30 am - 15:30pm (full day) EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS QTS, QTLS, PGCE, EYFS or equivalent Previous experience working in a UK school Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential) TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST: Hold Right to Work in the UK Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application Provide two professional child related references that cover the last two years OTHER If you would like to be considered for this role, please apply with a copy of your up to date CV.
