Every rug embodies a unique blend of craftsmanship and perfect imperfection, all made by hand. A commitment to sustainability is upheld in every part of the making process. They engage collaboratively with their clients and their designers to create and bring heirloom rugs to life.


With a new showroom opening in Chelsea, they are looking for a Showroom Manager to take the lead.



What we're looking for


This role requires you to be a energetic leader who can create an inviting atmosphere, drive sales, and maintain the showroom’s visual standards.


Proven experience as a showroom manager or in a similar retail management role.

Strong understanding of sales principles and customer service practices.

A customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional service.

Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and logistics software.

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Interior Design qualification or a related field preferred, or equivalent experience.



The Role


As the Showroom Manager you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of their interior and handwoven rug showroom, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction, managing sales associates and achieving sales targets.


Key responsibilities include:


Develop and implement strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets.


Provide guidance and support to sales associates to enhance performance.


Train and motivate staff to deliver high-quality customer interactions.


Recruit, train, and manage showroom staff, including scheduling and performance evaluations.


Oversee the day-to-day operations of the showroom, including inventory management, visual merchandising, and maintaining cleanliness and organization.


Prepare and present regular reports on showroom performance,


Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute promotional events and activities.


Implement marketing strategies to attract new customers and retain existing ones.



Package

£30,000 - £35,000 salary

25 days holiday increasing every year

Ongoing training and development

35-40 hours per week
