The successful candidate will have experience relating to the role of TA within Key Stage 2. The role will involve supporting children during their learning while also preparing, planning and delivering of targeted interventions. Key ResponsibilitiesTo support the teacher in delivering a rich and varied curriculum in line with the attached job description. To assist and support pupils, including those with special educational needs, to access learning activities, through your knowledge of the curriculum and knowledge of how pupils learn.We are looking for someone who: Has previous experience of working within the relevant Key Stage Has experience of working with children with English as an additional language. Has experience of working with children with a range of complex learning needs Is creative and positive Is able to plan, prepare and deliver small group interventions Is able to motivate and encourage children Has excellent interpersonal skills Has excellent team-working skillsAlexandra Park Junior SchoolAlexandra Park Junior School serves around 360, Key Stage 2 pupils in the Glodwick area of Oldham.
