Principal accountabilities: Responsibility for the quality and timely delivery of any work package that has been assigned to the individual Analysis, development, testing and deployment of software to Spirit AeroSystems standards Writing user and technical documentation Defect analysis and correction Support of applications using IT Service Desk procedures (Service Now) Interaction with key business users to define requirements Participation in group projects Provision of on-call support when required, according to standard IT agreements Candidate Requirements It is the responsibility of applicants to ensure that sufficient detail is provided on the application form to demonstrate they meet essential job criteria, as this alone will be used for vetting purposes. Essential: Programming capabilities and experience Candidates must possess a minimum of 4 years experience in an I.T. business support role or Engineering function AND have a minimum of a bachelors degree in an I.T. or Engineering related discipline or a discipline with significant I.T. content. Candidates with lesser qualifications who have an additional 2 years relevant experience will be considered. Ability and willingness to develop programming capability for bespoke/legacy applications (e. Rapidgen) Experience inin analyzing IT business processes and defining requirements. Strong self-motivation with good interpersonal and relationship building. Desirable: 2 + years experience in Manufacturing Business Processes (e.g. Shop Floor Execution, Quality, Manufacturing Engineering and Supply Chain) Programming capabilities in: .Net/C# SQL ASP.Net Windows Forms WPF (Windows Presentation Foundation) Windows Services Java Java frameworks ext JS Javascript Eclipse VMS/DCL Completed applications must be submitted by 4pm on Monday 21st October 2024.
