Senior Welding Inspector

By consistently delivering exemplary outcomes for our customers the Group has seen steady growth and expansion.We are now looking for a Senior Welding Inspector on a contract basis to work with one of our Clients within the Nuclear Industry.Responsibilities:The welding and fabrication co-ordination activities, which will include but may not be limited to:Compliance of all aspects of welding and fabrication activities Advise on compliance with legal, regulatory, standard and Client requirements Inspection/Witnessing of welds in line with the relevant specification Review of Visual Welding Inspection reports Witnessing & Liaising with Non-Destructive testing sub-contractors conducting on-site Non-Destructive Testing Quality Control witness/review Inspections of components from onsite and off-site manufacturers o Review and interpretation of radiographs of weldments to ensure compliance to standards prior to Client review Review of Non-Destructive Testing reports to ensure compliance to standards prior to Client review Review of population of weld maps for on-site welding worksWitnessing/Inspecting/Oversight of on-site welding and fabrication works Inspection review of on-site installation and assembly of fabricated products to ensure compliance to the requirements Review and verification of Welding documentation to ensure compliance with the Legal, Regulatory, standard and Client requirements for the completion of worksAssist in the compilation of the Life Time Quality Records Review of documentation to ensure compliance with the Legal, regulatory, Standard and Client requirements for the completion of worksEssential Qualification's and Professional Accreditations:CSWIP 3.2 Senior Welding Inspector PCN Level 2 Dye Penetrant Inspector PCN Level 2 Radiographic Interpretation SC Clearance or ability to obtain*Salary dependent on experience*Due to the nature of the work, candidates will be required to undergo a Security Clearance and must have Permanent and Independent Right to Work in the UK.
