The company Based in Northampton, our client is an Education Technology company that produces award-winning reading and writing support software for children of all ages and abilities. Hailed as ‘the gold standard of literacy software,’ our products are used in thousands of schools worldwide, supporting learners with dyslexia, learning difficulties, physical disabilities, and other special educational needs. The company has been active since 1991, is active in 23 different countries, and has won 12 prestigious awards. They have recently moved to a SaaS model and are on a significant growth curve. The role Our client is looking for a professional and dynamic individual who is passionate about education to join their Education Sales team and sell their award-winning education software to international schools and customers. You’ll be the main point of contact for all schools and subscribers within the agreed territory. Your central aim is to maintain existing customer renewals and source new customers (schools) for the company. No day is ever the same for an Education Consultant – from hosting top tips webinars to chatting to delegates at a buzzing exhibition to introducing schools to the transformative power of their products at staff meetings – there’s always an exciting challenge on the horizon. If you’re a confident communicator with plenty of drive and enthusiasm – we want to hear from you! You will be part of a supportive team and will be involved in the full sales cycle, including telephone and online meetings, quote preparation, and customer care follow-up. Throughout, you will have access to technical and educational specialists who will provide you with a full understanding of the software and its place within the education system. Responsibilities of the Role Providing one-to-one web demonstrations of the company’s products to local and international schools outside the UK. Attending tradeshows to showcase the company’s products. Managing a personal diary of online demonstrations, customer care meetings and other activities. Following up sales leads to complete the sales cycle. Responding to customer enquiries by telephone and email. Keeping up to date with product developments. This is a new role in a new territory, so there is an excellent opportunity to tap into a new market and help lots of new children. There is also an opportunity to grow and lead a team working in this location.
