Junior Mechanical Design Engineer Junior Mechanical Design Engineer Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 Orion is currently working with a growing manufacturing company based in Nailsworth We are looking for a Junior Mechanical Design Engineer to join their friendly team and work hands-on in a fast-paced environment.   The successful candidate will be given full product training within this role and the opportunity to develop skills and technical knowledge in a wide range of areas including 3D design, electronics and PLC programming. Junior Mechanical Design Engineer Responsibilities: Mechanical design of refuelling vehicles Electrical design – With training Creation of engineering proposals 2D & 3D designs using Solidworks & AutoCAD Project management of contracts from cradle to grave Reading and working from mechanical drawings Electrical and pneumatic design PLC Programming – Training provided Design modifications Design from customer specification Layout design General mechanical design – sensor bracketry/equipment mounting etc..
