Pinnacle Group are looking for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to work as part of a small on-site maintenance team undertaking a wide range of general repairs, planned and reactive maintenance within a student residential accommodation. You will be joining our Total FM team based in campus at the University of Hertfordshire. The Total FM team provides integrated asset management and maintenance services across the education, leisure, corporate, health and living sectors to ensure facilities operate at their best. The appointed person will be required to work overtime including evenings and weekends during busier contract periods and will entail working part of weekly rota and a call-out rota. Key responsibilities: Large redecoration works, Building fabric repairs, Lock changes, Filter changes Minor electrical, plumbing and carpentry work Tiling work, Footpath maintenance, Gutter clearing, Changing filters on air conditioning systems Completing all regular safety checks and Undertaking building audits Completing all preventative planned maintenance checks: Weekly fire alarm testing, Water temperature testing, Shower head descaling, Flushing of little used outlets, Fire door checks, Emergency light testing, Fire extinguisher & fire blanket checks, Communal lighting checks Key requirements: Electrical, Plumbing and decorating skills Good health & safety knowledge Experience of working in a similar role within the sector Capable of working with machinery and moving heavy equipment Our Offer The more diverse our workforce, the better we can adapt to and reflect the needs of our customers.
