The Pine Walk Group is rapidly growing and looking for driven and motivated individuals who are keen to be part of a developing business.Job SummaryThis is an entry level position that will provide an excellent foundation in the world of specialty insurance and ultimately a range of roles across finance, operations or analysis. The types of insurance written are complicated and will test and develop an individual’s problem solving and mathematical abilities. This role would suit a driven, hardworking recent school leaver who is looking to pursue a career in Insurance.Key ResponsibilitiesBinding: Assist with the end-to-end process of binding insurance policies, including data entry and documentation management.Query Resolution: Work through queries and longer term projects to improve the quality of reported data.Cash Allocation: Work closely with the finance team to allocate and reconcile premium payments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.Process Design and Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance operational efficiency and propose innovative solutions to streamline processes.Collaborative Support: Provide support to various teams within the operations department, assisting with administrative tasks and participating in cross-functional projects as required. Compliance: Adhere to industry regulations, internal policies, and best practices to ensure compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements. Any other duties your line manager you to do relevant to role/time.Working DayYour working day will be spent mainly in Microsoft Excel, reviewing, preparing and reporting data to various teams. Each day there will be standard tasks to be perform with regard to review, entry and reports. Once complete longer term projects around data cleansing, portfolio management and query solving will be apportioned across the team.Training ProvidedYour understanding will be developed through a range of on the job learning, training sessions and portal lessons. Successful candidates will demonstrate an ability to apply their learning to new scenarios and varied examples.LocationPine Walk is part of the wider Fidelis Group – with offices across London, Ireland and Bermuda.
