Van Driver (With warehouse duties)

Job Specification: Van Driver (30% Warehouse) – Swanley Location: Swanley, BR8 Salary: £12.00-£12.50 per hour Working Hours: Monday to Friday Job Type: Full-Time Our client, a leading supplier of metals including Aluminium, Stainless Steel, Copper, Brass, and Bronze in both standard and bespoke forms, is seeking a reliable Van Driver with warehouse duties for their Swanley-based operation. Key Responsibilities: * Driving a van for local deliveries (70% of the role) * Assisting in the warehouse with general duties, including picking, packing, and manual handling (30% of the role) * Handling heavy lifting and ensuring goods are safely loaded and unloaded * Maintaining accurate records of deliveries and stock Requirements: * Van driving experience is essential. * Willingness to engage in manual work and comfortable with heavy lifting. * Forklift experience is ideal but not essential (training can be provided). * Excellent time management and communication skills. * Knowledge of metal products or similar industries is advantageous but not required.
