Learning Support Assistant

The school accommodates for students with complex medical needs and Severe Learning Difficulties. The Learning Support Assistants play an essential role in providing a safe and productive learning environment. Formal qualifications are not essetnial for this role although the successful candidate will ahve a good standard of education. Pre-requisities: * Show superb communication skills with children, young people, their carers and other agencies * Be proactive and show initiative * Plan and prioritise under pressure * Be a trustworthy role model in and around our school community * Respect and maintain confidentiality whilst adhering to safeguarding principles at all times * Demonstrate you really care about children, particularly those who find learning and managing their behaviour difficult. * Demonstrate that you have the necessary skills and experience transferrable to a Special Needs Education Setting.
