Description You'll work closely with project managers, ensuring financial accuracy, cost control, and on-time budget performance for various projects. Your role will be essential in helping the company meet its strategic and financial goals by delivering precise project forecasts, financial reports, and profitability analysis. Manage all financial aspects of project budgets, including planning, monitoring, and reporting. Track project costs, commitments, and variances to ensure projects stay within budget. Prepare monthly project financial reports and advise project teams on financial health. Coordinate with project managers and stakeholders to support financial decision-making. Analyse and control project-related spending and identify cost-saving opportunities. These projects can cost anywhere from £100k - £20-40 million. These projects can last anywhere up to 3 years to build and launch. Profile Proven experience in project accounting or cost control (experience in manufacturing is a plus). Strong proficiency in Excel Excellent communication and organisational skills. Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines. Bidding experience is essential Experience of Budgeting and Forecasting along with experience of estimating costs of completion is advantageous Experience with overheads and project within the manufacturing / building industry May be working towards an accountancy degree Job Offer Project Accountant Salary £45k-£55k Pension Holiday 6-9 Month Temporary Assignment Hybrid Working On Site Parking Flexible Working Hours - 7.5 hours per day
