Manufacturing Support Engineer

MANUFACTURING SUPPORT ENGINEER - PERMANENT - SOUTHAMPTONA high volume manufacturing organisation in Southampton are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Support Engineer to join their team, providing essential support across high-speed manufacturing and plant facilities. This hands-on role requires you to ensure optimal performance and maintenance of production equipment, diagnose and rectify breakdowns, and contribute to process improvements.This a night shift role working 7pm-7am on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern.Key Responsibilities:Provide reactive and preventative maintenance support to manufacturing equipment and facilities.Diagnose root causes of equipment failures and restore operations swiftly.Work closely with production teams to enhance equipment availability and product quality.Perform routine safety checks and equipment calibrations.Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and new equipment projects.Qualifications:Time-served apprenticeship in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronic Engineering.Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.Strong analytical, problem-solving skills, and working knowledge of PLC systems.To apply for this role please click the 'Apply Now' button or email your CV to [email protected]
