They are experts in a number of areas, including prisons, general practice and surgeries, hospitals, diagnostics and urgent care. We are working in partnership to headhunt for a Practitioner Psychologist to join a well-established MDT at their prison service in Northampton. The team includes a Psychiatrist, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, GPs and Assistant Psychologists. You will be well supported by the Mental Health and Psychology Leads, and tasked with psychological assessments and interventions of complex cases within the patient population, while also delivering training and supervisions to staff. Location: The role is based in Northampton, and is commutable from Leicester, Peterborough, Cambridge, Bedford, Luton, Milton Keynes, Banbury, Coventry and other surrounding areas. Criteria: - HCPC Registration as a Practitioner Psychologist – Clinical, Counselling or Forensic Shift Pattern: Full-time, 37.5 hour week. Mon – Fri, 8:30am to 4:30pm. Interview Process: 3 stages: 1st stage is an informal introductory virtual conversation with the Psychology Lead as an opportunity to learn more about the role. This is followed by the 2nd stage – an informal visit at the site. The final stage is a more formal, virtual interview.
