Our client, a newly established proprietary trading firm, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Derivatives Base Metals Trader to spearhead the creation and development of their metals trading desk. Key Responsibilities:

• Desk Leadership: Take the reins and establish a world-class base metals trading desk, setting the strategic direction and operational foundation.
• Trading Execution: Leverage your deep market knowledge and trading acumen to execute profitable trades in the derivatives base metals market.
• Risk Management: Develop and implement robust risk management frameworks to ensure the desk operates within defined parameters while maximizing returns.
• Market Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to identify trading opportunities and stay ahead of market trends.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience: A minimum of 4 years of experience in derivatives base metals trading, with a proven track record of profitability and strategic insight.
• Leadership: Demonstrated ability to build, manage, and scale a trading desk, with strong leadership and team-building skills.
