We are a specialist recruitment agency, working on behalf of our client, a renowned renewable energy industry business based in Central London.

We are looking for a dynamic Membership Manager to join our team and drive membership retention and growth across three exciting brands.
Location: London SE1
Salary: Upto £38,000 per annum
Reporting to: Business Development Director
Contract: Maternity Cover FTC with potential to go permanent
Benefits: 25 days’ holiday (increasing with service), 1 extra day near your birthday, contributory pension
Key Responsibilities:
- Member Retention & Engagement: Build strong relationships with members, ensuring satisfaction and loyalty through tailored initiatives like webinars, events, and communication plans.
- Membership Recruitment: Collaborate with Business Development and Marketing teams to attract new members via campaigns, networking, and outreach.
- Event Management: Help coordinate member-only events that promote knowledge-sharing and interaction within the industry.
- CRM Management: Oversee membership databases, ensuring accuracy and streamlined communication processes.
- Benefits & Renewals: Administer membership benefits, manage renewals, and collaborate with the finance team on invoicing and at-risk memberships.
- Reporting & Analysis: Provide insights on membership trends and suggest improvements to enhance value.
- Social Media & Communication: Manage social media channels, keeping members informed and engaged with industry updates.
About You:
- Proven Membership Expertise: Previous experience in membership management, ideally within a membership-driven or sustainability-focused organisation.
- Digital Marketing Skills: Strong background in email and social media marketing.
- CRM Proficiency: Experience using CRM systems for membership tracking and engagement.
- B2B Acumen: Ability to manage customer relationships and respond effectively to member queries.
- Event Coordination: Comfortable planning and supporting member-centric events.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience in presenting and member outreach.
- Team Player: Collaborative, adaptable, and comfortable working across hybrid teams.
Desirable:
- Industry Passion: A passion for renewables, climate change, and sustainability.
- Multilingual: Fluency in English is required, and an additional language is a plus.
