Senior ALM Risk Consultant – UK DB Pensions
IGA Talent Solutions are working with a leading global provider of Asset Liability Management software and consultancy services for pension funds, insurance companies, and sovereign wealth funds. Our client provides market leading technology to drive innovative risk and return management solutions.
We are looking for a Senior ALM Risk Consultant to join their Global Pension Risk Team. In this role you will provide software and ALM analysis to support UK DB pension funds achieve their strategic objectives. As part of the UK ALM Risk Team you will closely manage client relationships to translate client requests and use cases into practical model implementations.
Leading ALM modelling implementations you will fulfill a linking role between the clients, software development team and various subject matter experts (ALM, investments risk, Liabilities, Stochastic modelling, Economic scenarios, and Climate risk).
Using your technical modelling skills you will work to identify trends within the UK DB pensions market to contribute to the development of innovative solutions, identifying the needs and wishes of clients to support with sales and commercial opportunities.
This role would suit someone with a real passion for ALM and actuarial modelling who is adept at translating client needs into practical models, working collaboratively with multiple clients and internal teams to drive commercial success; building strong, lasting relationships.
A minimum of 6 years’ experience in a technical/model driven risk management or investment consultancy role is essential.
- £84,000 - £120,000 base, plus bonus and benefits
