We have partnered with a leading global pharmaceutical company committed to providing high-quality products and services that enhance access to medicine and consumer healthcare.

About the Role: They are currently seeking an experienced Senior Legal Counsel to join their UK team on a 12-month fixed-term contract, focusing on supporting both commercial operations and consumer healthcare initiatives. In this role, the Senior Legal Counsel will be instrumental in driving commercial activities across the UK and Europe, with a particular focus on consumer healthcare products. This position is well-suited for a seasoned legal professional with a strong background in commercial law, especially within the pharmaceutical, healthcare, and consumer healthcare sectors. The role demands a strategic thinker capable of managing complex legal issues, negotiating high-value contracts, and offering sound legal advice to support the company's business goals, including its consumer healthcare portfolio.

Responsibilities: Proven ability to draft and negotiate complex commercial contracts. Strong understanding of UK and EU regulatory frameworks applicable to the pharmaceutical and consumer healthcare sectors. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and advise senior stakeholders. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strategic mindset. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications: Qualified solicitor with a valid practicing certificate, with 8-10 years of post-qualification experience, with significant experience in commercial law, preferably within the pharmaceutical, healthcare, consumer healthcare, or related industries.

Preferred Skills: Experience working in an international or global company and familiarity with the legal challenges in a multinational context, particularly in relation to consumer healthcare.
