Class 1 Driver

Permanent Class 1 Driver! £18.00 to £20.00 p/hour - Based near Bexleyheath/Dartford-  Benefits for Class 1 Driver Approx £18.00 to £20.00 per hour DOE Plenty of overtime! 25 days holiday + BH Class 1 Driver duties: As a Class 1 driver, you will be driving a low loader, delivering and collecting plant machinery and accessories to and from construction sites across the South East. You will be responsible for the unloading and loading of heavy plant equipment, operating the machinery as well as strapping it safely into place. You will also require good communication and customer service skills, with an enthusiastic approach to all tasks. As a Class 1 Driver; You will have previous experience as a Class 1 driver, HGV driver, C+E driver, or low loader driver. You will hold a minimum Class 1 (C + E) license You will hold CPC and a Digital Tachograph You will have previous experience delivering plant machinery, such as diggers/dumpers/excavators and powered access to and from site with the ability to operate It would be desirable if you had FORS accreditation, however, training can be provided for this. The Company You will be working for a hire company, who supply a range of specialist plant equipment to the construction industry and related sectors.
