Fashion Store Manager

As Fashion Store Manager, you will be the face of this village retail luxury clothing outlet store. With over 25 years in the Village, it is well known to both day trippers and loyal locals. Customers expect exceptional levels of customer service, and you will play an important role in creating an amazing shopping experience. We are looking for candidates who can hit the ground running to maintain the customer experience, lift sales, and motivate the team. You will have full responsibility for the running of the store, supported by a small but long-serving team of 4. Your focus will be on delivering store targets and maintaining retail operational standards both on the shop floor and back of house. There are rotas to produce, colleagues to train, deliveries to unload, promotions to arrange, products to merchandise, and window displays to set up, so you will certainly be kept busy. You will be able to demonstrate an excellent record of face-to-face customer service in a retail environment and have great communication skills, along with managerial experience. You’ll love fashion, have a positive can-do attitude, and are hard-working team players who can roll up their sleeves to add value to the store. Main Tasks: * Managing a team of four part-time members and training where necessary * Ensuring exceptional customer service standards * Liaising with Head Office regarding stock levels and replenishment * Processing customer purchases, refunds, and exchanges * Cashing up at the end of the day * Processing of customer purchases, refunds, and exchanges * Setting weekly staff rotas and managing team holidays * Processing deliveries of stock * Merchandising products in store * Replenishing stock on the shop floor and stock room management * Opening and closing the store To apply you will have: * Fashion/clothing retail management experience, but will also consider supervisors, assistant managers, senior sales assistants who come with a wealth of fashion retail experience * Will consider full time candidates (5 days a week) or part time candidates (4 days per week) Additional Benefits: * 28 days annual holiday, rising to a maximum of 33 days * Company pension scheme * Company Sick Pay * Staff dress discount (67% off retail price) & additional staff discounts * Setting weekly staff rotas and managing team holidays If you are a motivated manager with a passion for fashion and customer service, we'd love to hear from you.
