Field Commissioning Engineer

We have a new opportunity for an experienced Field Commissioning Engineer based in the UK to join our dedicated team here at Telelink UK . Maintaining the network by troubleshooting and repairing outages; testing network back-up procedures and updating documentation is an integral part of what you’ll do. Trusted by Vodafone, Nokia, Ericsson and CityFibre we maximize network availability and boost KPIs for our customers. We implement both out-of-the-box solutions and carry out individual work elements to suit our clients’ specific requirements. As a Field Commissioning Engineer you will be responsible for: · Commissioning of Ericsson RBS 6000 and BBs 6600 serries controllers, DUG, DUW, DUL, DUS, Nokia Airscale and Huawei BTS 3900 Equipment · Test calls of Vodafone, O2 and EE networks · Terminating and testing of external alarms · Maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing of deployed telecommunications equipment · Keeping records of upgrades, repairs, and maintenance performed · Reporting of the full working process on field. · Maintaining workflow process reports with back-office support. · Verifying service by testing circuits, equipment, and alarms; identifying, correcting, or escalating problems. · Maintaining network by troubleshooting and repairing outages; testing network back-up procedures; updating documentation. · Maintaining safe work environment by following codes, standards, and legal regulations.
