Junior Fund Accountant - Real Estate

A real estate fund is looking to appoint a part-qualified fund accountant into a newly created position owed to the impressive growth the business is experiencing. The incumbent will join a team of circa ten people in London and will report to an experienced fund finance director. The role will be responsible for supporting fund finance across the real estate business. The environment is fast paced and the incumbent will be responsible for the day to day fund accounting and analysis, as well as supporting a busy asset management team with ad-hoc requests. A fully study package is on offer with a clear progression route to become a qualified fund accountant, taking on more responsibility as you move through the exams and master the day to day. Requirements include: Studying an accountancy qualification, i.e. (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or equivalent Excellent academics and circa 18 months of experience in a junior accounting role with management accounts experience. Fund accounting/real estate accounting is highly preferential but not essential We would also consider someone who is looking to leave an accountancy practice to finish of their qualification in industry Confident in dealing with a multitude of different stakeholders Culture is social, friendly and supportive and they operate a hybrid working setup. Compensation is c£35,000-45,000 with full study support and a performance-related bonus.
