You'll manage costs from start to finish, ensuring projects are delivered on budget and to the highest standards. Key Responsibilities of a Quantity Surveyor / Estimator: Review architectural plans to prepare accurate quantity estimates. Calculate material, labour, and construction equipment costs. Prepare contract documents, including bills of quantities. Negotiate with contractors and suppliers to secure competitive pricing. Monitor project progress and adjust budgets as needed.
