Collaborate with local teams to facilitate implementation.Provide analytical and strategic support for the annual strategy and business planning processes.Support special projects within the commercial function, such as contract negotiations and the evaluation of new business opportunities.Essential :Degree educated, most likely in a STEM fieldStrong skills in business analytics, including the development of new frameworks and methodsSolid business understandingStrategic understanding of business strategy and how business analytics can facilitate commercial successProven ability to work successfully with all organizational levelsExperience working successfully in an international or global environmentDesirable:Experience from a management consulting or similar backgroundBasic understanding of game theory, particularly in the context of how real-life business decisions can be understood as strategic gamesUnderstanding of market research methodologies, such as how Conjoint Analysis can help uncover the relative importance of different factorsUnderstanding of theoretical models and frameworks for pricingMandarin language skillsKey skills: Strong analytical skills (Excel) and presentation preparation skills (PowerPoint)Strategic understanding, with the ability to see “the big picture” combined with the patience and diligence to thoroughly analyse data at the “line item” levelAbility to develop new data sources and systems to process the dataAbility to design and execute market research projects (internally and with external vendors) to enhance our analytical understanding of the market environment.General Competencies:Ability to work effectively and independently with a wide range of stakeholdersStrong communication skills, both verbal and writtenAbility to bridge cultural and language barriers in a global organizationA desire to continuously improve the commercial operations of the company, with the initiative to take independent action towards this objectiveInitiative and energyBenefits:25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays)Bonus based on performanceOpportunities for development and progressionCompany pension schemePrivate medical insuranceHealthcare Cash planHealth ScreeningEmployee Assistance ProgrammeStore discountsTech and Cycle SchemeDiscounted dining cardCycle to work schemeGreen car schemeHoliday buy and sellLife Assurance scheme
