Salter Grange is recruiting an Electrical Project Manager to join a Specialist Engineering Contractor on a £60m+ MEP Million Commercial project in London.
Operating across the London market on noteworthy Residential and Commercial projects, with a turnover hitting £800m, they are highly regarded and known for their robust Preconstruction Engineering, Project Management capabilities, and smooth Project Delivery.
The successful Electrical Project Manager will ideally come from a recognised engineering contractor with experience from cradle to grave and must be comfortable managing large electrical packages on high profile complex projects.
Electrical Project Manager Responsibilities:
- Prepare reports and front-end studies including capital cost estimates, project schedules, material take-offs and out-to-tender schedules.
- Prepare technical and contract documentation for issues and analyse returned tenders.
- Preparing method statements and risk assessments for production activities
- Carrying out Quality Control through inspections and snagging
- Liaising and coordinating with clients, design team and contractors on technical and commercial issues.
- Coordinates with other crafts working on a job site to ensure smooth transitions along with Identifying materials and equipment that may be required
- Analyses and quickly resolves any work problems that may arise and ensures that all deficiencies on any given project are corrected promptly
- Ensuring handover documentation is presented in a specific format and timelines
- Communicating project progress to key stakeholders, such as the client, architects, engineers
Electrical Project Manager Requirements:
- 5+ years experience in a similar role.
- Ability to manage subcontractors
- Technical Understanding of Electrical systems
- Proactive people management
