Job purpose
Member of the team within the Commercial function. The team controls and develops the relationship with each of Vaultexs two shareholder banks Commercial/Corporate teams, industry members and strategic partners, and the Vaultex product suite. Jointly with others, it also develops propositions for any new direct to Vaultex clients and improves the relationship with regulators (Bank of England/Treasury).
This role will work with the Bank Relationship Manager, and the wider Commercial team, in supporting the shareholder banks grow and retain their cash portfolios. They will do this by anticipating, identifying and reacting to requests from the Commercial/Corporate parts of the bank, and supporting the development of Vaultexs product and services portfolio and the delivery of the Commercial strategy, which will help Vaultex and the banks grow their respective businesses.
Key responsibilities
Effective bank, end customer and cash supply chain liaison influencing the bank to take action conducive to portfolio growth.
Working with the bank and existing or potential end customers in a way which leads to retention and business acquisition.
Support shareholder banks with customer proposals and presentation decks: writing and creating high-quality, persuasive propositions to meet customer requirements within prescribed deadlines
Coordinating with subject matter experts across Vaultex to support banks and Commercial led initiatives.
Provide input to and develop the presentation decks and Excel models to document and gain buy-in to Vaultex Note and Coin strategies.
Work with new customers, their bank, and the Client Relationship and Operations teams on the smooth onboarding of new business.
Maintain and develop documentation used to inform people of the key features of our main customers, identify appropriate actions to improve service/profitability and subsequently aid their profitable retention.
Provide input to key strategic development activities designed to grow the business including devising, maintaining and delivering products and improvement initiatives.
Identify and use all relevant data to create value add Management Information which aids the Vaultex decision making processes.
Support the management of the bank Trading Committee/Sales and Product meeting slide decks and minutes. Maintain full control of the timely delivery of the associated decks, minutes and actions from the meetings.
Deputise for the Bank Relationship Manager at key meetings with the Banks in times of their absence.
Ensure full compliance with Know Your Responsibilities Guide and all job specific policies & procedures.
