Workshop Engineer - Pumps

Join the UK's leading pump distributor as a Workshop Technician / Engineer at their head office in Sheerwater, Woking.
You must have experience servicing and repairing pumps.
THE ROLE:
The role is varied, helping with day-to-day operations, including:

• General engineering to ensure that our pump units are built as specified
• Service, repairs, and testing of pump units and any associated equipment.
• Pick and prepare orders of pumps and goods ready for despatch.
• Operate a forklift
• Receive deliveries and check goods
• Control inventory and manage stores

Hours: 8 am - 4:30 pm Monday - Thursday; 8 am - 1:30 pm Friday!
Finish at 1:30 pm on Friday!
KEY SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• Proven experience of working with pumps and motors
• Good mechanical and basic electrical skills
• Full UK driving licence
• The ability to deal professionally with customers
• IT literate - comfortable using Microsoft Office, Word and Excel
• A short commute from Sheerwater, Woking.

SALARY & BENEFITS:

• £30,000 - £40,000, dependent on experience
• 20 days holiday + public holidays
• Pension
• Private healthcare after one year
