Cure Talent is delighted to partner with a leading medical device company specialising in the design, development, and manufacture of cutting-edge medical safety equipment.


Due to continued growth, we have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Hardware Engineer / Electrical / Electronics Engineer to join our multidisciplinary and highly collaborative R&D team.


The successful Hardware Systems Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and documenting electrical systems for complex electromechanical medical machinery. In this role, you will lead system and subsystem-level designs, applying engineering principles and techniques to bring innovative new products to market. You’ll work across the full product development lifecycle, from concept to validation, ensuring the highest quality standards are met.


We are looking for an experienced Electrical / Electronics Engineer with:


  • A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering field and 5+ years of system-level experience, including electrical, mechanical, and systems processes.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple projects, including report generation.
  • Leadership experience in managing schedules, resources, and providing technical guidance to project teams.
  • Experience with Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFMA) and serviceability.
  • Familiarity with controlling electro-mechanical devices (motors, solenoids, heaters) and understanding machine electrical hardware (wiring, connectors, power management).
  • Experience in creating requirements and test procedures for electrical systems and printed circuit board assemblies, with knowledge of medical electrical standards and regulated industry design control processes being a plus.
