As a Cover Supervisor, you will take charge of supervising classes in the absence of the regular teacher. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that students remain focused, engaged, and on-task during lessons. Essential Skills and Qualities that we are looking from you: Supervise classes and ensure that students are engaged and on-task during lessons. Follow and implement lesson plans provided by the absent teacher. Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment. Assist students with their learning as required, ensuring they understand and follow instructions. Maintain a safe and respectful classroom atmosphere. Your Responsibilities Will Include: Previous experience working with young people or in an educational setting is highly desirable. Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate students. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A flexible and adaptable approach to work, with the ability to step into various subjects and year groups. A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
