The Job As a Hygiene Operative, you will be vital in providing a service to the people of Barnstaple and North Devon. This is an outdoorsy role that will see you keep areas clean and free of waste, helping to present Barnstaple as a safe and welcoming area to both residents and visitors. An induction will need to be attended at the site prior to being put onto a shift. Key responsibilities: * Cleaning public toilets and facilities to ensure they are fit for use. * Emptying bins and picking up litter. * Sweeping outdoor areas. * Driving to various sites and ensuring the areas are kept clean to a professional standard. Key Requirements: * You must be physically fit with no lingering injuries. * Be able to work as part of a team. * A valid driver’s license as you will be driving to various sites across North Devon. Salary £11.44 per hour. Location Barnstaple. Hours Must be flexible to cover 2.00pm to 6.00pm or 6.00am to 2.00pm, Wednesday to Friday. 7.5 hours each day, Saturday and Sundays.
