Job Title: Sustainability Consultant Location: London Reporting to: Head of Sustainability About Us: Our client is committed to shaping the future of the built environment to create a better tomorrow. Role Overview: This is an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative team that encourages career progression. The sustainability team provides national clients with sustainability strategies, net zero carbon consultancy, and certifications such as BREEAM, SKA, and WELL. If not yet chartered, the company will support you in achieving professional accreditation. Key Responsibilities: Manage BREEAM & SKA certification processes Identify and develop new sustainability projects Produce reports and communicate with design teams Host sustainability workshops and client meetings Address risks and issues in project delivery Travel for site inspections during construction Ensure compliance with Quality Assurance, Health & Safety Advise on regulatory changes affecting the built environment Assist with bid and tender preparation Essential: Experience of delivering BREEAM assessments from pre-assessment to certification Experience of submitting high quality written reports to BRE Quality Assurance Awareness of sustainability standards including all BREEAM schemes, WELL Building Standard (qualified preferred), SKA, LEED Knowledge of relevant legislation impacting sustainability and construction Knowledge of building services terms and technologies Desirable: Well Certified Assessor / detailed knowledge of the Well Standard Experience of sustainability strategies, carbon consultancy including net zero carbon Educated to degree level preferably in an architectural, sustainability, environmental or construction discipline Willingness to undergo further training on sustainability standards, e.g. LEED/WELL as required BREAAM AP qualified Proficient in BREEAM Management software such as IES Tap and Tracker+ Benefits include: 28 days holiday + bank holidays (option to purchase extra days) Company pension scheme Life assurance Bicycle purchase scheme Health screening Professional memberships Eden Brown is committed to equality in the workplace and is an equal opportunity employer
