The Head of Estimating role within the Power Solutions Team has responsibility for quality, process, and the high standards our customers expect, to provide an effective and accurate pricing process in conjunction with the sales team to ensure gross margins are accurately quoted on customer bids, tenders, and quotations. They should possess a broad knowledge of all key aspects of standby Diesel / HVO & GAS Generator solutions both electrically and mechanically. They should also have the necessary skills to show leadership and manage a growing estimating team. Requirements · Prepare and analyse drawings and documents for the tender process. · Distribute enquiries to subcontractors and manufacturers. · Research costs to meet client expectations. · Analyse exchange rates and pricing for competitive pricing. · Identify and report on risks and opportunities. · Ensure tender compliance with Health & Safety legislation and AVK policies. · Support the Project Sales team in accurately recording client expectations.
