A well established and respected multi-disciplinary construction consultancy based in St Albans are seeking a Quantity Survey to join their growing team.
A traditional Construction Consultancy, looking to capitalise on their long term client list and also strengthen their capabilities around a growing area of the business.
The successful Quantity Surveyor will be joining an organisation who have a strong track record in developing and mentoring their staff.
About the role:
The successful Quantity Surveyor will gain experience in the core areas of Quantity Surveying, particularly:
- Cost management, ensuring that the project remains within budget.
- Prepare tendering documents
- Provide alternative solutions with restricted budgets
- Contract Administration.
- Provide a personal service to well established clients.
You will be working in multiple sectors which will include public and private.
This role is very much about succession planning, to for the right Quantity Surveyor, this is an opportunity to push on to a senior level within the business.
About the requirements:
- The successful Quantity Surveyor needs to have a strong understanding of the role of a Quantity Surveyor within a Consultancy environment
- A RICS accredited degree would be preferable
- A desire to become chartered through RICS or already chartered.
- Exceptional client facing skills are essential as is the ability to interact with all manner of stakeholders at all levels.
About the salary:
- Up to 60,000 (Dependant on experience and qualifications)
