About the role: As a KS1 Teaching Assistant, you’ll focus on boosting and guiding lower-achieving students and those with English as an Additional Language (EAL). You’ll work closely with the class teacher to provide small group sessions, personalized interventions, and one-on-one support. Your goal will be to encourage growth and confidence in each student, using creative approaches and evidence-based strategies. This is an ongoing part-time role, ideal for an enthusiastic TA looking to make a difference within a friendly and supportive team.

Application Requirements:
• Experience as a Teaching Assistant in a primary setting, ideally with Key Stage 1.
• An understanding of boosting and intervention strategies for lower-achieving and EAL students.
• A proactive, patient, and compassionate approach to working with children.
• Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain one).
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with children and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in the classroom, supporting the class teacher with daily routines and lesson plans.
• Provide tailored interventions and booster sessions for KS1 students.
• Work one-on-one or in small groups with EAL and lower-achieving students to reinforce learning.
• Support SEN students by implementing individualized learning strategies and fostering an inclusive environment.
• Collaborate with teachers and the SENCO to ensure the best outcomes for every child.
