One of our partners, a global player in the data centre industry, is seeking a US Partnerships Director to spearhead their US channel sales strategy. This is a critical role for an organisation that is transitioning from direct sales to a channel-driven model, offering you the chance to make a significant impact and drive growth in both the UK and international markets, particularly in the US across partners like Avant Communications, intelisys, Telarus, Sandler Partners, Bridgepointe What You'll Be Doing: You will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the channel strategy. Your responsibilities will include: - Building and managing key channel partnerships: Identifying, negotiating, and securing agreements with the right partners to drive data centre opportunities. - Driving business growth: Managing all channel opportunities and ensuring seamless collaboration with the internal sales team to allocate leads effectively. - Developing channel strategies: Creating, implementing, and optimising channel partner agreements that align with the company’s ambitious growth plans. - Engaging with partners: Attending events, hosting meetings, and fostering long-term relationships with channel partners to ensure mutual success. - Forecasting and reporting: Providing clear visibility into channel sales pipelines, accurately forecasting revenue opportunities, and managing the reporting process to ensure all data is timely and precise. - Marketing and events: Organising and attending channel marketing events to build brand presence and develop strong industry connections. What We're Looking For: This role is ideal for someone with: - A strong network of channel partners in the data centre or technology sectors, with a particular focus on the US market partners like Avant Communications, intelisys Telarus, Sandler Partners - A data-driven approach to decision-making, with strong forecasting and reporting skills. - Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels. - The ability to travel frequently to meet with US partners and attend industry events.
