PHD Global has an exciting opportunity for a talented biddable media expert, with experience running complex, multi-market agency operations, as we roll out a new global operating model for one of our biggest and most prestige FMCG clients.


The Role:

Managing the biddable media governance program for the client's best practice across search, social and programmatic, this individual will play a key role in ensuring consistent application of known best practices and mandated global requirements. Ultimately achieving global efficiency and effectiveness targets.

Reporting into the Global Programmatic Director to elevate best practice guidelines in line with econometrics, attribution and media performance insights. From developing new guidelines with our primary DSPs and Social partners to refining and governing existing global platform scorecards. Collaborating with regional platform leadership to calibrate accordingly for regional nuance.

Operationalising enablement programs in market. Including, but not limited to Programmatic Supply Path Optimisation, scaling bid optimisation solutions, omni media growth strategies and developing custom solutions for data-driven sales driving tactics with our global partners. Partnering with the Data Solutions Director to land and scale new data products using the client’s 1P data in more markets with consistently.


The right candidate will have:


Have experience in activating social, social and programmatic media.

Whilst this role will not involve activating campaigns in platforms, having the experience in doing so at scale and ideally in multiple international markets is critical in order to succeed in building trust with the local agency activation teams and highly experienced clients.


Be highly organised with attention to detail.

The client have extremely high standards for alcohol advertising regulations, media supply chain transparency, brand suitability and best practice governance. The Digital Platforms Director is required to manage multiple complex workstreams simultaneously, whilst having an eye for detail.


Have an opinion on the industry and how we should respond

A genuine interest in the digital media industry and willing to share their experience and knowledge is crucial. An understanding of the programmatic supply chain and evolving space of bid optimisation will be required in order to build a competitive advantage for our client.


Be a natural collaborator and leader

Work and collaborate with internal teams (digital media, data innovation, digital operations, and regional teams in particular) as well as external (client, consultants, contractors, media partners). You will need to liaise with different teams in different parts of the world to make this role work.
