This long-term client has entrusted us with increased responsibilities, leading to the need for a Senior Events Executive. In this role, you will develop the operational project plan for their major annual event, which we support throughout the entire year. This position is crucial, as 80% of your efforts will be dedicated to ensuring the success of this event.Working closely with Sneakys director, you will oversee and guide this project through its entire lifecycle—from initial concept to final delivery; you will be accountable for the timeline, budget, and logistical execution of the event, ensuring all the moving parts are meticulously planned. This role includes not only pre-event planning but also providing in-person support during the event.This Senior Events Executive role is for an exceptionally organised person who will lead the way with their mind-blowing project management skills. We are looking for that special person who is ambitious and excited for more autonomy and the opportunity to make their mark.Whilst your primary responsibility will be dedicated to supporting our client, your remaining time will be working alongside our team, supporting other projects in our events portfolio, which may include conferences, exhibitions, corporate parties, award ceremonies, and B2C experiences throughout the year.Collaboration is key in this role. You will work closely with team members, suppliers, and clients to ensure smooth coordination and effective stakeholder management, which are critical to the successful delivery of each event.The project management and administrative aspects of this role are intertwined, requiring strong multitasking abilities to manage and coordinate all support elements seamlessly.This role is a new opportunity and as such you will work closely with Sneakys director, who will provide guidance and support as this role develops.Responsibilities:Assist in the development and maintain a project plan and timeline, and a P&L for the project, ensuring the event runs to schedule, and deadlines are met.Overseeing the complete project management of the event, which includes coordinating with suppliers, engaging with stakeholders, and collaborating with a larger operations team to successfully execute large-scale conferences and exhibitions.Overseeing budgets while closely monitoring and controlling operational expenses to ensure events remain within financial limits. This includes negotiating with key suppliers and venues to secure favourable contract terms and pricing and managing payment schedules to guarantee timely and accurate payments to all suppliers and venues.Participating in regular client meetings and reports, gaining a clear understanding of the client's objectives, and ensuring that event execution aligns with their goals.Consistently adhere to company policies, procedures, and sustainability principles, while actively striving to enhance the sustainability performance of live events.Ensure all Health & Safety, Risk Assessment and all other relevant information for the event is delivered in a timely and correct process.Sourcing appropriate suppliers for each event and securing the best products and services available at the best price.Maintain a working project file for your events on our shared drive.Provide administrative support across all projects.Onsite / In-person event management and supportExpertise / Minimum CriteriaExcellent project management skills, including the ability to prioritise tasks, manage timelines, and adhere to budgets by using tools such as Asana and Excel.Experience involved in large event projects for a minimum of 2 years.Budgeting experience essential and overall P&L responsibility an advantage.Outstanding planning and time management skills, with the ability to work under pressure, prioritise tasks effectively, and manage multiple events simultaneously.Demonstrated expertise in stakeholder management, combined with strong collaboration and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work effectively across multiple teams.You are an ambitious and creative thinker, eager to advance in the world of events.IT literacy (Word, Excel, Powerpoint.) and the ability to use design software tools.Meticulous attention to detail and a creative eye.A full, clean driving licence is essential.You Are:Outgoing, proactive, and energetic with a can-do attitude.A quick learner, from a fast-paced events background, capable of adapting and excelling in new teams.You are self-sufficient and thrive in a highly collaborative team.
