We are a managed service provider who have exclusively partnered up with an Aerospace company near Oxford to handle their entire recruitment process as they search for a Senior Electronics Engineer to join them on a contract basis. They manufacture revolutionary technology supporting the ever-growing advanced air mobility AAM sector. You will have the opportunity to work in a fantastic work environment. It will initially begin as a 6-month contract with the opportunity to continue on an ongoing basis.
The successful Senior Electronics Engineer will be involved in:
- Technically leading, guiding and mentoring engineers
- Leading the development of inverters and converters
- Leading and/or contribute to design reviews
- Designing, developing, debugging and validate electronics hardware for use in inverter and converter products for aerospace applications
- Simulation and evaluation of electrical and thermal circuit designs
- Evaluate component lifetime, limits and derating
- Generate internal and external documentation including designs, analysis, simulation and reviews
- Developing the electronics / hardware departments technologies, capabilities, facilities, and processes
The Senior Electronics Engineer will ideally have the following skills or experience:
- Degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering
- Experience with electronic characterisation
- Experience of modelling, simulation and analysis of electronic circuits for inverter systems
- Experienced in performing design analysis, such as worst-case, tolerance, thermal, and stress
- Proficient with ECAD tools such as Schematic, PCB, Modelling, Simulation
- Knowledge of Design for Test (DFT) and Design for Manufacture (DFM)
