Real Estate Paralegal - Birmingham

A leading law firm is seeking a skilled and experienced Paralegal to join their Real Estate & Projects department in Birmingham.

This is a unique opportunity to be the first Paralegal within their growing Post-Exchange team, working closely with senior Partner and Solicitor within the department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing the process from the exchange of property contracts to completion and registration.
• Handling high-volume cases, including tasks such as preparing and approving transfer deeds, submitting SDLT returns, and managing AP1 applications.
• Supporting fee earners and liaising with clients on a regular basis to ensure a seamless workflow.
• Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with internal processes and legal regulations.

About You:

• A law degree is essential, ideally 2:1 in LLB or equivalent qualification.
• At least 2-3 years of paralegal experience which includes continuous experience in property contracts post-exchange to registration.
• Experience in development work, residential conveyancing, or plot sales is highly desirable.
